This might be one of the funniest Craigslist ads of all time. Not for what’s being sold – a 1996 Subaru Outback with almost 300,000 miles, which is probably near the very bottom of things anyone wants to buy online. But the seller’s flair and his Subaru’s totally unique special qualities almost make us want to buy the car, or “The Toad,” as he lovingly calls it.
Unfortunately, the original Craigslist posting was flagged for removal, but thanks to Huffpost, most of the ad lives on. Our sincere hope is that “The Toad” has found a new home with an owner that appreciates the honesty and humor of it’s previous owner:
If you want something, you just have to ask for it by saying “rowrr rowrr rahhr rowrr” (like you have a gremlin stuck in your throat) over and over again until you get your way… NAILS it!
